White Wind is the paternal counterpart to Red Dragon’s sacred feminine, and a much more aerated, distant presence. In White Wind we move from closest convergence with our mother to the spacious independence of our father’s realm: the primary breath of connection with the sacred male, our father and Father Sky. The Maya used the same word for ‘wind’ as for ‘tree.’ Trees are tall and lean, lightning rods whose movement lets us know that the wind is blowing. They bring the spirit messages of our unseen world from their most extended limbs down into their roots, as we do in the White Wind time.
