It is obvious that Lisa Star lives a life of service with her work, a bright light guiding us toward a new way of being in our world. She comes from the truth of In lak’ech - ‘I am another yourself’ - while conducting a workshop, making what can be complex information intimate, real and healing. I really wanted to absorb the idea of living in ‘real time’ but it felt complex and inaccessible until I worked with her 13-day wavespell interpretation, and through her translation was guided effortlessly. Now I am synched with a rhythm and a sense of who I am in the context of the greater good.

Last night I went to the introductory session with Lisa Star on the Mayan calendar. It was AMAZING. What she refers to as ‘natural time’ is the Mayan approach to time division, which is based on WOMEN'S MENSTRUAL CYCLES! The natural goddess rhythm is totally honored in this system. Lisa is a KAHUNA. She applies her vast knowledge base to the individual and gives some amazingly profound explanations of the universe today. Within that context she explains some of the mysterious experiences that we are all sharing in this movement outward from the Mayan prophecy.
I teach workshops worldwide on the intricacies of the Tzolkin sacred count and Mayan astrology. I am a passionate, articulate and lighthearted public speaker, entirely relatable and skilled at making the esoteric and alien Mayan code accessible for everyday usage.
Any teaching is really a remembering: your soul experience includes lifetimes in ancient civilizations where the sky was a story, your own body as celestial as the cosmos. Opening to the 13 Moons, the Tzolkin sacred count, is to uncover something you already innately know – but I will expertly show you how to get there.
My retreats are designed to deeply and quickly engage you in the new/ancient order of Natural Time. Beginners will learn the language and encounter the images that are the foundation of the calendar rhythms, the guidelines. For more advanced students, I draw from my decades of daily reverence for the Tzolkin and 13 Moon cycles, leading you deeper than you’ve entered on your own, and answering the complex questions that have arisen in your practice.
I am available to lead introductory weekends and longer seminar retreats, as well as more intimate group processes oriented to particular passages in the Mayan cycles. I have years of experience in guiding gatherings through the Mayan new year of July 26 and its surrounding festival days.
