LODGING OPTIONS
Homestay:
The Youth Hostel is conveniently located near our Yoga Soup hub, but is pretty low grade (open sewage/6 bunks to a room/train howling/lots of hangovers) and expensive. So we are endeavoring to hook up homestays for out-of-towners. If you are interested in paying $13-20 per night, per person to sleep on a couch, spare bed, camp on the floor or in a yard or on a mountainside, email Zuvuya@ResonantTruth.com with your body count, wishes and needs. This option requires the Galactic tone of Integrity.
Car Camping:
Surprisingly welcomed in Santa Barbara, or simply unchecked, you can cover up with curtains and sleep in your car/van/Technicolor dream bus on the city streets. Best locale is next to the 3 acre city garden between Sola and Arrellaga, along Garden, Santa Barbara or Anacapa Streets. You can use the amenities at the public restrooms, and take naps on the lawn under the prehistoric trees.
Hotels:
Cheapest rates are 15 miles south on the 101 in Carpinteria, or north towards Goleta, but if you go corporate, you get corporate. In Santa Barbara the best ‘expensive’ place is Agave Inn ($79-99) agaveinnsb.com. Try to camp or do homestay!
