Yellow Warrior is the celebration of war and the organic importance of conflict, even violence, in the greater scheme of a full life experience. We settle into a fight that will ultimately bring greater peace. War is our own earthquake, our own volcanic eruption. We rest in stasis until upheaval is necessary for the creation of a liberating shift. We as warriors wear a shield and walk through our lives momentarily guarded. We can be more fearless, but we can also struggle with the defense structure of compressed emotions, of not being open or revealed. We appreciate our own brave hearts, and the Yellow Warrior nature: spiritual warriors, eco-warriors, planetary warriors and soldiers in the armed forces. Every passage in the Mayan cosmology has its vital role.
