Allow the necessary deaths to happen. For instance - FB just ate my first post on this day's themes. It felt like a loss - all those precious words, my spectacular spiritual spew. But the real teaching today is that every death brings an opportunity for new growth - something fresher, thriving on old decay, fertile grief and despair. You can even skip despair and let death happen organically with total acceptance. Just watch what wants to end today and accept it as a gateway to a new heavenly beginning.
The Planetary perception of death is troubled, at least in Western civilization: deny, avoid, resist, delay. But death in turn is the great equalizer - I am another yourself - because it brings us all to our knees and into the next level of eternity, regardless of personality traits or nationality. Is it better to live long or to live less? Is the afterlife the end or the ease after this war-torn earth paradigm?
We find out today, in small glimpses, as we test our mettle, test the water, of little deaths (French call these orgasms) all around us. PS This post - as compared with my first one that got gobbled by a computer glitch - is much fresher, juicier, renewed for the death that preceded it. Look for that mirror in your own day's unraveling.
