This class will make your life magical. The ‘present moment’ becomes full of color and imagery – living ‘one day at a time’ as a journey into the sacred dream world intuited by the Maya. You will be led home to the center of your own intuition, and find your sacred connections to this ancient civilization’s wisdom.

The Maya of Central America were phenomenal astronomers who had a near- perfect understanding of the planetary cycles. They were also attuned to the magic and mythos found in each moment of our spin through the solar system, and they celebrated the stages of the journey with ritual and gathering. This class is designed to help you find the bridge between Mayan ceremonial traditions and your present-moment emotional and spiritual needs, restoring your own inner harmony by connecting to their vast cosmic consciousness. In our gatherings we will:

Deeply learn the cycles of two calendars: the 365-day 13 Moon calendar and Tzolkin, a 260-day sacred count
Align our own work and wishes with the calendars’ rhythms
Celebrate passages and portals the calendars offer
Share our experiences of magical synchronicity in the world as we synchronize ourselves with natural time
Receive support for our personal evolutionary arc within the calendars’ greater journey
Love and understand ourselves and others through the cosmology of ‘Mayan birthdays’
Laugh and marvel at the magic we encounter

Yellow Seed Portal Days

From White Electric Worldbridger to Blue Crystal Eagle - or Lunar Moon 9-18 - we are in a ten day portal run. Every day we can expect an intensification of energy, a doorway to open through previous stagnation or obstruction.

We can imagine that we are a seed pod dropping through a hole in soil, falling like Alice through the rabbit hole. We will drop in these days to the soft bottom of damp earth, a suitable place for us to root and ultimately grow back towards sunlight.

Everything we experience in the Yellow Seed portals is in a sense the future we are creating and to revisit when we begin to sprout back to surface light. It's also a time to notice that earlier losses and deaths have composted to make vibrant soil for new nourishment and growth.

The Red Serpent portals on the opposite side of the Tzolkin are so much about sloughing off a dead skin, and enduring the discomfort of being trapped in that which we've outgrown. The Yellow Seed portals are more about the excitement of renewal to come, and grounding ourselves deep in the earth to stabilize ourselves for future fruition and bloom.
